Sales Merchandiser – Retail & FMCG

About the role

MBake is looking for a motivated Sales Merchandiser to ensure product visibility, drive sales growth and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned outlets regularly to ensure MBake products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, expiry dates and freshness.
• Ensure products are presented according to MBake’s merchandising standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarkets, retailers and other customers.
• Take and follow up on orders from clients and outlets.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Implement promotional activities and displays correctly.
• Gather customer and outlet feedback and report market observations.
• Prepare regular sales and merchandising reports.
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth order fulfilment and product availability.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, merchandising, FMCG or a similar role is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of the local retail market is an advantage.
• Ability to travel between different outlets.
• A valid driving licence is an advantage.
