Sales Representative (Placement Specialist)

About the role

Placement International is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative (Placement Specialist) to drive the conversion of high‑potential hospitality talent into international placements. You will act as a consultative sales professional, managing a pipeline of students and young professionals and guiding them through the application and payment process.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and convert inbound leads from Mauritius universities into active program applicants.
• Use industry knowledge to overcome candidate objections related to visas, costs, and relocation, creating urgency.
• Own the full "sale‑to‑payment" cycle, ensuring timely collection of program fees.
• Expand the talent network by building relationships with career centers at elite hospitality schools and conducting webinars and on‑campus recruitment events.
• Maintain a clean and up‑to‑date CRM database, logging every interaction and nurturing candidates through automated and manual touchpoints.
• Analyze personal sales data to continuously improve conversion rates.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in high‑volume sales, recruitment, or business development with a proven closing record.
• Resilient, competitive mindset focused on exceeding monthly revenue and placement targets.
• Graduate of a top hospitality program with a relevant network.
• Fluent English and capable of pitching to both students and C‑level hotel directors.
