Sales Support Engineer

About the role

The Sales Support Engineer will join Diamond Key International’s Mauritius team, working closely with sales, product managers, technical teams and suppliers. The role focuses on gathering commercial and technical data, analysing requirements and preparing cost‑effective proposals that help win projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design competitive technical solutions that meet client needs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost‑estimation sheets, profit analysis and pricing recommendations.
• Support sales meetings by providing technical expertise and commercial insight.
• Maintain and improve proposal processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies to maximise win rates.

Required profile

• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude and creative technical thinking.
• Effective teamwork in a cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication abilities.
• Mauritian citizenship is mandatory.
