Security Engineer

About the role

As a Security Engineer at SD Worx, you will protect the company’s IT landscape across more than 26 countries. You will ensure that security controls for infrastructure, cloud, and workplace environments remain effective and evolve with emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced security reviews, threat analysis and risk assessments across infrastructure, cloud and workplace platforms.
• Design, implement and improve security monitoring, detection and response capabilities, reporting metrics to senior stakeholders.
• Enhance security infrastructure and configurations such as Identity & Access Management, system hardening, SIEM, IDS/IPS/XDR, applying CIS benchmarks where relevant.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching and secure configuration processes, prioritising remediation based on exploitability, exposure and business impact.
• Perform complex incident response and forensic investigations, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and embed lessons learned.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and advisory skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive mindset to capture security evolutions and translate them into actionable improvements.
• Experience working in a multinational environment and handling security for large, distributed estates.
