Security Engineer L2 – Incident & Change Management

About the role

Orange Business is seeking a Level‑2 Security Engineer to join its global security operations team. You will be responsible for handling security incidents and change requests across a wide range of technologies, ensuring high‑quality service delivery for our multinational customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer incidents and requests related to security solutions (Checkpoint, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Ivanti, F5 Big‑IP, Zscaler, Cisco, AWS) within SLA.
• Perform proactive monitoring, root‑cause analysis, and lead troubleshooting calls with end‑users, support teams and vendors.
• Coordinate change management activities, including risk assessments, planning, execution, and post‑implementation validation.
• Execute migrations, upgrades, and configuration backups while updating CI tools.
• Provide expert technical support, handle escalations, and compile monthly customer reports.
• Collaborate closely with Level‑1 support, regional teams, TAMs and Level‑3 engineers to ensure seamless service continuity.

Required profile

• Strong background in security operations and incident management.
• Experience working with multiple security platforms and performing change management in a service‑oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
