Semi Senior Auditor

About the role

The Semi Senior Auditor will support the audit team in planning, executing and reviewing audit cycles for a variety of clients. Working closely with the Audit Senior, you will guide junior staff, prepare audit documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare transaction samples for vouching and tracing across audit cycles.
• Guide associates on audit schedules, test execution and field‑work review.
• Review audit work papers, checklists and confirmation letters for accuracy.
• Provide feedback to the Audit Senior on staff performance and audit observations.
• Assist in the preparation of analytical reviews from trial balances and client information.
• Update IFRS checklists and discuss the impact of accounting and audit standards with the Audit Senior.
• Support follow‑up on client timetables and other audit‑related matters.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of auditing experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance; partially or fully ACCA qualified.
• Experience supervising or coaching junior staff.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge.
• Audit procedures and analytical review techniques.
• Preparation of audit checklists and confirmation letters.
