Senior Account Manager – Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Account Manager – Financial Reporting will lead client relationships and oversee the production of financial statements for a range of fund structures. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors and internal teams, ensuring high‑quality service and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, auditors, directors and onshore teams, resolving queries promptly.
• Lead communications on new regulatory requirements and financial reporting disclosures.
• Review and oversee preparation of financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate funds and Management Companies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and Canadian GAAP.
• Manage timelines, collaborate with onshore teams and senior leadership to enhance reporting policies.
• Identify and implement efficiency, automation and scalability improvements across reporting processes.
• Lead a high‑volume team, set goals, monitor performance and drive continuous learning.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Maintain robust quality control, risk management and operational resilience.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA or MBA (Finance).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial reporting.
• Strong experience within hedge fund, private equity or real estate environments preferred.
• Hands‑on knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards.
