Senior Accountant - Fund Accounting

About the role

This senior accountant position offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of fund clients, delivering high‑quality accounting and financial reporting while developing expertise in complex investment structures.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounting, management accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare and review complex reconciliations, management accounts and financial statements in line with IFRS, US GAAP and other applicable standards.
• Partner with clients and auditors to facilitate audit processes and meet reporting deadlines.
• Provide exceptional client service by responding to queries, resolving issues and supporting reporting obligations.
• Mentor junior team members, review their work and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Support process improvements, budgeting, project work and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA or ACA, or a degree in Accounting/Finance with relevant experience.
• 4‑6 years of experience preparing client financial statements, preferably in capital markets, real estate, private equity or alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; exposure to UK GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting systems such as eFront, Navision, ViewPoint or Value Financials.
