Senior Back-End Engineer (AEM)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Back‑End Engineer to design and develop scalable web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality applications in an agile, English‑speaking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, UI/UX, QA and product owners on design and code reviews.
• Maintain production quality by monitoring technical KPIs and writing technical documentation.
• Translate functional requirements into technical features within project constraints.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend code following best practices for quality, security, accessibility and unit testing.
• Estimate effort, adapt to tools and workflows, and interact with all project stakeholders.
• Continuously learn new technologies and upskill across front‑end, back‑end, QA, DevOps and data areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of web development experience and 2 years on AEM projects.
• Strong expertise in Java and solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ECMAScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
• DevOps mindset with CI/CD knowledge and Agile experience.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Good spoken and written English; French is a plus.
