Senior Back-End Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AEM Backend Developer to join Publicis Production EMEA Hub. In this senior back‑end engineer position you will design, develop and maintain scalable web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java, working closely with UI, QA, product and DevOps teams in an English‑speaking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, designers and product owners on design and code reviews.
• Translate functional requirements into technical features while respecting project constraints.
• Write clean, secure, testable code and maintain documentation.
• Monitor technical KPIs, ensure production quality and estimate effort for tasks.
• Stay up‑to‑date with technology trends and continuously self‑learn.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and adapt to project tools, processes and workflows.
• Interact with all stakeholders (UX, UI, PO, QA, DevOps) and be ready to up‑skill across front‑end, back‑end, QA and data.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of web development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with AEM projects.
• Strong command of Java.
• Good written and spoken English; French is a plus.
