About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst – Payment Solutions at Checkout.com, you will drive the technical delivery of card and local payment method integrations, ensuring merchants can access a wide range of payment options across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical projects with card schemes and alternative payment method partners to launch new acquiring regions and payment options.
• Collaborate with engineering, accounting, treasury, legal, compliance and product teams to define testing plans and achieve provider technical certifications.
• Gather and interpret new feature requirements, translate them into clear implementation specifications and processing rule guidance for product teams.
• Support internal operations by troubleshooting merchant onboarding, scheme registration, clearing and settlement processes.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert, disseminating payment knowledge across the organization.
• Engage proactively with schemes and partners to propose innovative payment solutions while maintaining high processing standards.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Business Analyst or in a payments‑processing role within financial services.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and work cross‑functionally with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of card schemes, alternative payment methods and related processing rules.
• Experience supporting merchant onboarding, scheme registration, clearing and settlement operations.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
