About the role
The Senior Client Accountant will support a portfolio of Irish‑incorporated SPVs from our Mauritius office. Working under the guidance of a Senior Client Accountant, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparation of management accounts and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, annual reports and management accounts in accordance with IFRS, Companies Act and other relevant GAAP.
- Provide day‑to‑day financial reporting services to clients, liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain systematic accounting records and manage a portfolio of entities, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Assist with ad‑hoc assignments and explore opportunities for new responsibilities.
Required profile
- A degree in Accounting or Finance and/or full ACCA qualification.
- 5‑7 years of relevant experience in accountancy, preferably with exposure to IFRS.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Familiarity with the Companies Act and other GAAP frameworks.
