Senior Corporate Associate

About the role

SALVUS (Mauritius) Ltd is looking for a Senior Corporate Associate to join its office‑based team. The role focuses on corporate and trust administration within a fast‑paced financial services environment, offering clients strategic and practical guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the incorporation, administration and ongoing maintenance of companies, trusts and other legal structures.
• Manage day‑to‑day corporate governance and secretarial matters, including board resolutions, statutory filings and record keeping.
• Support the administration of special licences and regulated activities such as Investment Dealers, Investment Advisers, Payment Intermediary Services, Virtual Asset and Initial Token Offering Services.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT requirements, internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Act as primary contact for assigned clients, providing guidance on routine corporate and regulatory issues.
• Liaise with regulators, banks, auditors, legal advisors and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions and submissions.
• Prepare and review corporate documentation, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
• Guide junior associates and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Monitor regulatory developments and help improve internal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in a management company, fiduciary services firm or regulated financial services environment in Mauritius.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CGI, STEP or similar are advantageous.
