Senior DevOps & Security Engineer

About the role

Fintrellis Limited is building secure payment systems that require high reliability, scalability, and security. We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Security Engineer to strengthen our cloud infrastructure, automate operations, and enhance security within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve AWS (or similar) cloud infrastructure.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, and deployment practices.
• Contribute to architecture design, scalability, and resilience.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability.
• Handle incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and lead recovery processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable systems.
• Strengthen platform security, access controls, and infrastructure hardening.
• Support PCI DSS‑aligned environments and operational requirements.
• Work with internal teams and service providers.
• Continuously improve DevOps, security, and automation practices.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, or security roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Exposure to containerised environments such as Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash or similar).
• Good understanding of security practices and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ownership mindset with ability to work autonomously.
