Senior Executive - Client Services

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive to join our Client Services team in Ebene, Mauritius. Reporting to the Manager – Client Services, you will support MITCO in acting as Company Secretary for client entities and delivering comprehensive administration services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist team members with opening bank accounts locally and internationally.
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely regulatory filings with the Registrar and FSC.
• Handle FATCA and CRS reporting to the Mauritius Revenue Authority, where applicable.
• Organise board and shareholders’ meetings, prepare minutes, and circulate them promptly.
• Advise directors on duties, responsibilities, and regulatory changes.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews on investors and shareholders in line with AML legislation.
• Review bank transactions prior to execution and process payments efficiently.
• Draft and review standard agreements such as consultancy, loan, and agency contracts.
• Perform regular compliance reviews of company and trust files.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer due‑diligence documentation and ensure professional correspondence handling.
• Draft complex resolutions, letters, and other required documents while adhering to anti‑money‑laundering policies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (Management, Law, International Business, Finance, or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the finance industry or global business sector.
• Professional qualification such as ACIS, ACCA, or STEP membership.
• Methodical, accurate work style with strong understanding of trust and company administration principles.
• General knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
