Senior Executive/Executive Assurance – IT Audit

About the role

The Senior Executive/Executive Assurance – IT Audit is responsible for planning and executing IT audit engagements, evaluating IT General Controls, application controls, cybersecurity controls and technology‑related risks. The role supports both external and internal audit clients while adhering to Deloitte methodologies and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute IT audit engagements for external and internal audit clients.
• Assess IT General Controls such as User Access Management, Change Management, IT Operations, Backup & Disaster Recovery and Logical Security.
• Evaluate automated application controls and interface controls.
• Identify technology risks and recommend practical remediation measures.
• Document audit findings using Deloitte methodologies and tools, and prepare high‑quality working papers, audit reports and client presentations.
• Support cyber, data privacy and information security assessments and supervise junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, Information Security or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as CISA (preferred); CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CRISC are advantageous.

Required skills

• Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and related areas (User Access Management, Change Management, IT Operations, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Logical Security).
• Familiarity with databases, operating systems, networks and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (SOX, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL).
• Experience with data analytics or audit tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
