Senior Finance Executive – Finance Department

About the role

As a Senior Finance Executive in Deloitte's Finance Department, you will act as a bridge between finance leadership and operational teams, ensuring accurate financial operations, robust reporting, and compliance with standards. You will contribute to continuous improvement of financial controls and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash processes, maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and perform ledger reconciliations.
• Produce monthly MIS reports covering revenue, overheads, expenses and utilisation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, providing explanations to senior management.
• Implement internal control procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards and Deloitte policies.
• Liaise with business teams to gather financial data and communicate results.
• Identify and drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
• Mentor junior finance staff, delivering training and feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or shared services.
• Completion of ACCA Level 1 or Level 2 is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Excel macros and Business Intelligence tools.
