Senior Front Office Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Front Office Supervisor leads the front desk team at La Maison 20 Degres Sud, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with direct guest interaction to uphold the hotel’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the hotel’s image and maintain high standards of service.
• Supervise daily front office shifts, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Manage team rostering, training, coaching, and performance.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs, and special requests.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to increase room occupancy and revenue.
• Allocate rooms according to guest preferences and special needs.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations and other departments.
• Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and attachment of supporting documents.
• Participate in hotel committees and assist during high‑volume periods.
• Act as a role model and step in for the head of section when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising front office or reception teams.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a courteous demeanor.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop team members.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for handling guest issues.
• Good communication skills for liaising with other departments.
• Commitment to maintaining discipline, work ethics, and professional grooming.
