Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Senior Fund Accountant will own the end‑to‑end accounting of diverse investment portfolios, ensuring accurate net asset values, capital calls, distributions and redemptions. You will act as the primary liaison for key clients and internal stakeholders, delivering high‑quality financial reporting and supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate NAV calculations, distributions, capital calls, redemptions and related payment instructions.
• Produce management, interim, liquidating and audited accounts, maintaining precise fund records through reconciliations and expense accruals.
• Review files, statements and records to support financial statement audits.
• Train and coach junior staff, ensuring robust self‑review and compliance with control objectives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for important clients, reporting directly to client and investment managers.
• Liaise with auditors, internal audit teams and external parties for SSAE 18 audit fieldwork and other compliance activities.
• Review NAVs for various fund structures (master‑feeder, fund‑of‑funds, holding companies, SPVs) across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in fund accounting and NAV preparation.
• Strong knowledge of audit processes, including SSAE 18.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and supervise junior staff.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance.
