Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join Apex Group’s fund administration team. The role involves preparing NAV packs, financial statements and tax filings for private equity funds, and supporting audit and transfer agency activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity funds on required frequencies.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for clients.
• Prepare annual and quarterly tax returns, TDS filings and other submissions to the Mauritius Revenue Authority.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Assist with transfer agency transactions as needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handle inquiries and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented and eager to learn new tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran or Efront.
