Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will work directly with clients, preparing statutory accounts, tax returns and supporting the NAV and regulatory processes for a range of investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Prepare statutory and periodic accounts for client funds.
• Prepare statutory tax returns for client funds.
• Coordinate with independent auditors.
• Process bank transfers, subscriptions and redemption files.
• Assist in the preparation of NAV files.
• Address regulatory and compliance matters.
• Provide general support to supervisors and colleagues on client affairs.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
