Senior Information Technology Officer

About the role

Kolos Cement Ltd is seeking a hands‑on Senior Information Technology Officer to lead and support its IT landscape across multiple sites. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable infrastructure, robust security, and effective support for business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, servers and cloud systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft Defender.
• Support cybersecurity, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Provide technical support for ERP and other business applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and handle escalated support requests.
• Coordinate with external IT suppliers and service providers.
• Participate in IT, digitalisation and cybersecurity projects.
• Guide and support the IT Support Officer and Helpdesk technicians.
• Assist IT operations across all company sites.
• Support ISO 27001 compliance, audit activities and remediation actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, system configurations and asset records.
• Analyse recurring incidents and drive continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of practical IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, networking, Windows Server, Intune, cybersecurity and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP is a strong advantage.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, Fortinet, CCNA, ITIL, ISO 27001) are beneficial.
• Exposure to ISO 27001 and multi‑site or industrial IT environments is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
• Willingness to support different operational locations as needed.
