Senior Internal Controller (Hospitality)

About the role

The Senior Internal Controller will oversee cost and inventory control for the two Constance hotels on Rodrigues Island and their food & beverage outlets. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the role ensures accurate procurement, stock movements and cost of sales across revenue‑generating departments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor internal control policies for procurement, stock transfers and consumption, focusing on Food & Beverage and Spa.
• Supervise Cost Control and Storekeeping teams, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in collaboration with Accounting and Finance managers.
• Control and record the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, main kitchen and outlet areas, and participate in regular inventories.
• Establish daily and monthly food & beverage costs, prepare profit‑and‑loss statements per outlet, and analyse sales statistics.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports for F&B, minibar, spa and operating supplies, handling adjustments with the Regional Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• Professional certification such as ACCA (Level 2 or qualified), CIMA, CPA or CIA.
• Minimum 10 years of internal control or cost control experience, including team management in 3‑ to 5‑star hotels.
