Senior Internal Controller

About the role

The Senior Internal Controller will oversee internal control and cost‑control functions for two hotels on Rodrigues Island and their food & beverage outlets. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the role ensures accurate recording of goods flow, cost analysis and compliance with Constance internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor internal control policies for procurement, stock movements, transfers and cost of sales, especially for Food & Beverage and Spa.
• Supervise the Cost Control and Storekeeping teams, coordinating timely and accurate reporting with the Accounting Manager and Financial Controller.
• Control and record the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, main kitchen and all F&B outlets.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories and prepare physical inventory reports for food, beverages, minibar, operating supplies and S.O.E.
• Establish daily and monthly food & beverage costs, profit‑and‑loss statements per outlet, and cost recipes for new menu items.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports for all revenue‑generating departments and handle related adjustments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• Professional certification such as ACCA (Level 2 or qualified), CIMA, CPA or CIA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal control or cost control, including team management in 3‑ to 5‑star hotels.
• Must be a local resident of Rodrigues Island.
