Senior Lounge Agent – Mauritius

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Senior Lounge Agent to support the Lounge Supervisor in delivering a premium experience for EK premium customers at the Port Louis lounge. You will act as the deputy supervisor, ensuring service standards are consistently met and stepping in during absences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and guide premium passengers, explaining lounge services and assisting with their needs.
• Liaise with catering, cleaning and maintenance providers, supervising staff to maintain high service standards.
• Perform operational tasks such as seat changes, boarding‑card issuance, transit check‑in, reservation adjustments and boarding assistance.
• Support ticket‑desk functions and broader airport operations as directed.
• Provide timely flight information to guests and handle queries or complaints efficiently.
• Prepare accurate reports on customer trends, meal waste, stock levels and invoice confirmations.
• Manage daily/weekly stock control and control expenditure on food, beverages and consumables.
• Identify improvement opportunities, conduct audits, and assist with menu development.
• Cover the Lounge Supervisor during absences to maintain optimal service.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in aviation or hospitality environments.
• Basic knowledge of Departure Control Systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English and the local language.
