Senior Manager - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Manager – Financial Reporting will lead the preparation and delivery of financial statements for a variety of fund structures, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors and internal teams. You will drive compliance across multiple accounting frameworks while fostering a high‑performing reporting team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and timely query resolution.
• Lead communication on new regulatory requirements and financial reporting disclosures.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Funds, Management Companies and related structures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and Canadian GAAP.
• Manage timelines for financial statement production in collaboration with on‑shore teams and stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve financial reporting policies, procedures and automation initiatives.
• Produce and analyse MIS reports to support business decision‑making.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop a high‑volume reporting team while maintaining 100% accuracy.
• Embed robust quality control and risk management practices within the reporting function.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading financial reporting teams in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to manage auditors, directors and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying regulatory changes and complex financial information.
• Track record of driving efficiency, standardisation and automation in reporting processes.
