Senior Manager – Treasury Middle Office

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager for the Treasury Middle Office who will oversee daily treasury analysis, control and monitoring, and deliver timely reports to the Asset‑Liability Committee (ALCO) and the Central Bank. The role ensures prudent management of balance‑sheet risks and supports efficient capital and funding utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reports to support effective balance‑sheet management and resource allocation.
• Improve profitability by enhancing returns on risk‑weighted assets and funding.
• Review and monitor structural interest‑rate risk, foreign‑exchange risk, equity‑like investments and liquidity risk.
• Assess external environment impact on profitability and balance sheet.
• Analyse interactions between business lines, transfer pricing and resource allocation.
• Conduct trading and investment performance analysis and evaluate Treasury P&L.
• Perform independent liquidity and market‑risk monitoring, measurement and reporting.
• Execute Treasury control and monitoring checklist tasks and ensure proper reconciliation of currency positions.
• Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
• Liaise with Reconciliation Section to review long‑pending items and inform Head of Department of discrepancies.

Required profile

• Degree in Banking, Finance or a related field from a recognised university.
• Passes not below Grade C in at least two subjects at Principal Level (Cambridge Higher School Certificate or equivalent).
• ACI Certificate (mandatory or to be completed after onboarding).
• Minimum 10 years banking experience, including at least 5 years in a Treasury function (Front Office, ALM or Middle Office).

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of Treasury products.
• Strong Microsoft Excel modelling capabilities.
• Detailed understanding of regulatory guidelines for Liquidity and Market Risk.
