Senior Officer, Operational Compliance Services

About the role

This senior position is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality and accuracy of AML/KYC, FATCA and related compliance deliverables across a range of client complexities. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, supporting client services teams and safeguarding regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate AML/KYC/CDD/EDD documentation, risk assessments and compliance conclusions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by reviewing FATCA/CRS classifications, validating reporting and escalation decisions.
• Assess and validate complex client structures such as funds, trusts, foundations, pension and insurance entities.
• Monitor quality standards and review deadlines for onboarding deliverables, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to client services teams, serving as the primary point of reference for compliance enquiries.

Required profile

• Degree in law or equivalent qualification; professional certification (e.g., ACAMS) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Client Due Diligence role with strong regulatory compliance expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of complex client structures and investor typologies.
• Proven ability in quality control, standardisation and detailed compliance documentation review.
• Excellent communication skills and a supportive, mentoring approach aligned with the group’s values.
