Senior Software Developer – Browser Isolation

About the role

Parallels is looking for a senior software developer to join the Browser Isolation project. You will work remotely from anywhere, helping to build a secure, seamless way for users to access web applications across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the product’s control plane in Python.
• Build and evolve the data plane using Python and Rust.
• Refactor, optimise, and modernise existing codebases.
• Research and integrate new technologies to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement robust solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python skills (standard library, data structures, best practices).
• Hands‑on experience with C, C++ or Rust.
• Experience developing distributed applications and network programming.
• Proficiency with containerisation platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OOP, TDD, DDD design patterns and automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based repositories, and relational databases.
