Senior Treasury Accountant

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) as a Senior Treasury Accountant in Port Louis, Mauritius. You will provide expert treasury accounting support to assigned countries, ensuring accurate bank accounting, treasury reporting, and compliance with DHL Treasury policies while supporting the Treasury Manager in driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury activities for assigned countries, ensuring timely processing and recording of treasury transactions.
• Monitor and resolve treasury‑related exceptions, outstanding items, and bank discrepancies.
• Clear reconciling items, investigate aged items, and maintain proper documentation for all treasury transactions.
• Ensure compliance with DHL Treasury policies, internal controls, and banking mandates, signatories, and access rights.
• Support annual bank account reviews, audits, and implementation of treasury controls.
• Prepare treasury reports and KPI dashboards for finance teams and external stakeholders.
• Act as a senior escalation point, coach junior team members, and contribute to workload planning and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, AP, AR, Controlling, Shared Services, and support regional and global treasury initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Treasury or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent preferred.
• 3‑5 years of finance experience, preferably in treasury or accounting.
