About the role

InfluenceUP, a fast‑growing digital marketing agency in Mauritius, is looking for a Senior Videographer to lead its shooting team. You will own the entire shooting process for SME clients, from planning to hand‑over, ensuring high‑quality footage is delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare each shoot – script, shot list, location, talent, and equipment – and confirm details with clients.
• Allocate crew and on‑camera hosts, share weekly availability, and give clear work lists.
• Lead the shooting team, brief shooters, provide feedback, and train interns to a house standard.
• Film key projects yourself, including short‑form TikTok/Reels videos, brand films, and events.
• Review footage on the same day for framing, lighting, sound, and completeness.
• Hand over labelled, backed‑up footage to post‑production and close each shoot on the production board.
• Manage the film kit, track inventory, schedule repairs or purchases, and optionally operate drones.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio of self‑shot work, preferably for businesses or brands.
• Experience planning shoots and leading or training other videographers (a big plus).
• Highly organized, able to adjust calendars quickly when clients change dates.
• Comfortable communicating with business owners on the phone.
• Confident on‑camera presence, able to direct owners to look natural.
• Fluent in English, French and Kreol for client interactions.
• Valid driving licence; drone skills are a plus.

• Lighting setups
• External audio equipment
• Gimbal operation
• Drone operation (optional)
