Services Consultant – General Ledger

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Services Consultant to lead General Ledger (GL) implementations across its global client base. You will guide clients through the full project lifecycle, from discovery to deployment, ensuring the GL solution meets their financial reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end GL implementation process, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training and deployment.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders such as Controllers, Accountants and Financial Officers to define GL posting requirements.
• Provide best‑practice advice to maximize client value and return on investment.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, external partners and third‑party vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while coaching team members to work efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Accounting.
• 5+ years of software implementation experience, preferably focused on accounting.
• Practical knowledge of accounting, payroll and production‑environment implementation practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes.
• Experience delivering SaaS/Cloud solutions, especially in HCM or payroll domains.
• Ability to document requirements, issues and outcomes clearly.
• Excellent organization, communication and collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
