Social Media & Charter Booking Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, people‑oriented professional to lead our social media presence and manage charter bookings for Yacht Management Ltd / Yacht Mauritius at La Balise Marina, Black River.

The role blends creative content creation with end‑to‑end reservation handling, supporting both our online community and our charter operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn through content creation, community engagement and Meta advertising.
• Operate the charter booking software, handling reservations from inquiry to confirmation.
• Build and maintain relationships with tour operators, agents and concierge services.
• Identify and develop new commercial partnerships for boat sales and charters.
• Respond promptly to charter requests from clients, tour operators and agents, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of social media management and platform best practices.
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
• Comfortable learning and operating booking software.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial drive.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages a plus.
• Prior experience in yachting, tourism or hospitality is an advantage.
