Social Media & Charter Booking Operator

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, people‑oriented professional to manage our social media presence and oversee charter bookings at La Balise Marina in Black River, Mauritius. The role blends creative content work with end‑to‑end reservation management in the marine and yachting sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, including content creation, community engagement and Meta advertising.
• Operate the charter booking software, handling reservations from inquiry through confirmation.
• Build and maintain relationships with tour operators, agents and concierge services.
• Identify and develop new commercial partnerships for boat sales and charters.
• Respond promptly to charter requests from clients, tour operators and agents, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of social media management and platform best practices.
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
• Comfortable learning and operating booking software.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial drive.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience in yachting, tourism or hospitality is an advantage.
