Social Media Content Creator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Social Media Content Creator is a full‑time hybrid position based in Port Louis, with flexibility for remote work. You will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social platforms to support WFDSA’s mission, campaigns, and events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
• Draft posts, produce visuals or coordinate with designers, and schedule content.
• Monitor engagement, respond to community interactions professionally, and maintain brand voice.
• Analyze performance metrics, recommend improvements, and ensure consistency with organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align social media activities with WFDSA initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in social media content creation, including writing posts and selecting visuals.
• Ability to develop and execute social media calendars, campaigns, and basic content strategies.
• Strong written communication skills in English with attention to detail and appropriate tone for civic/social audiences.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and ability to interpret performance data.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment with strong time‑management and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with civic, social, or nonprofit organizations (advantage).
