Software Developer – SSRS Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer who will focus on designing, building and maintaining SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports. The role works closely with the Senior DevOps Analyst and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, design and maintain SSRS reports based on business requirements.
• Gather report specifications from stakeholders and ensure data accuracy.
• Store reports and workflows in the appropriate libraries and follow change‑management procedures.
• Document any changes to reports, templates and workflows according to policy.
• Assist in converting legacy reporting types to SSRS.
• Test templates, reports and workflows before live deployment or upgrades.
• Provide training and guidance documentation for end‑users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong foundation in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with SSRS report development.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of vPoint is a plus but not mandatory.
