Software Engineer – AI Agentic Solutions (Tech Consulting)

About the role

EY is seeking a hands‑on Software Engineer to design and build AI‑powered solutions and autonomous agents for its Technology Consulting practice. You will work on integrating large language models (LLMs) into production systems, creating end‑to‑end workflows that combine AI, data pipelines, and microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Golang and Python applications and microservices that leverage AI/ML capabilities.
• Architect AI agents with multi‑step reasoning, tool/function calling, memory, planning, and orchestration using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom loops.
• Integrate LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) and build RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and vector‑database solutions (pgvector, Pinecone, FAISS).
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for rapid prototyping, refactoring, and test generation.
• Develop high‑performance backend services and APIs (Gin/Echo/gRPC in Go; FastAPI in Python).
• Write clean, testable, production‑grade code with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
• Approximately 3–6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Golang and Python.
