Software Engineer – Oracle PL/SQL Specialist

About the role

CDL Knits Ltd is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its IT team in Forest Side, Mauritius. You will work on the company’s custom‑built ERP system, ensuring it remains reliable, performant, and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle‑based applications using PL/SQL and Oracle APEX.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in internal ERP applications.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases for software releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business owners, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience with Oracle development tools and Oracle APEX.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Self‑learner who can work both independently and as part of a team.
