Sourcing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sourcing Specialist to support our sourcing function under moderate supervision. You will ensure timely availability of materials, maintain optimal inventory levels, and coordinate purchasing activities to meet production demands.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase requisitions.
• Collect supplier quotations, evaluate bids, and select vendors that meet price, quality, and delivery standards.
• Manage product onboarding and vendor management projects from planning through execution.
• Design and implement integration approaches for supplier and material data within existing SOPs.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including Master Data, Compliance, and suppliers.
• Map external customer, supplier, and material data to SAP Avantor systems and support ongoing integration projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and documentation.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of working independently while adhering to defined KPIs.
