Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at the spa of Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius. You will create a welcoming first impression, manage reservations, and support guests throughout their spa experience.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with guests to book treatments and answer product‑related questions.
• Operate the spa management software to ensure accurate bookings and billing.
• Handle all spa‑related telephone calls, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Serve welcome drinks and maintain knowledge of their properties.
• Promote retail products, recommend therapist‑selected items, and process related sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow SOPs and checklists.
• Address guest complaints calmly and professionally, taking ownership of resolutions.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and cross‑department communication.
• Log guest visits, compile client histories, and manage incident reports.
• Uphold grooming and uniform standards at all times.

Required profile

• Secondary education (Middle or Secondary) with additional relevant training.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional appearance.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to handle guest requests from arrival to departure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other resort departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa management software for bookings and billing.
