Steward – Luxury Resort Hospitality Role

About the role

Join Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast, as a Steward. You will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and service areas, supporting a refined hospitality experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned work area.
• Clean kitchen premises and keep them tidy at all times.
• Supply clean, sanitized equipment and FF&E to staff as needed.
• Operate dishwashing and pot‑wash equipment when required.
• Store equipment in appropriate locations and clear away bins.
• Report breakage, equipment breakdowns, and any faults immediately.
• Conduct inventory of amenities and supplies.
• Follow environmental legislation, energy‑efficiency policies, and fire‑alarm procedures.
• Adhere to hotel dress code and safety standards.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the hotel industry; luxury resort experience is advantageous.
• Mandatory food handler certificate.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional language knowledge is a plus.
