Supply Chain Officer

About the role

Yuni Furniture & Lifestyle, a home decor company offering furniture and lighting for individuals, hotels, offices and other commercial spaces, is hiring a full-time, on-site Supply Chain Officer in Mauritius. The officer manages the end-to-end supply chain for the company's furniture and decor products, working closely with sales, showroom and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of materials and finished goods from local and international suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to the showroom and client locations
• Track orders and manage supplier relationships
• Optimize logistics to support project delivery for homes, hotels, offices and other projects
• Maintain accurate records and analyze supply chain data
• Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness and service quality

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field preferred
• Experience in home decor, furniture, retail or related sectors is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic, design-oriented environment

Required skills

• Supply chain management and procurement, including inventory control, vendor management and logistics coordination
• Analytical skills to interpret data, forecast demand and optimize stock levels and purchasing decisions
• Effective communication and customer service, including negotiation with suppliers
• Proficiency in relevant software such as ERP systems, inventory management tools and spreadsheets
