Sustainability Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sustainability Specialist to support and operationalize BIA Group’s Sustainability Strategy. The role will involve monitoring action plans, assisting cross‑functional teams, and driving sustainability reporting and carbon‑footprint initiatives across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing sustainability objectives, tracking projects and action plans in coordination with Group Head Office Sustainability.
• Prepare internal materials and reports on progress against sustainability targets, KPIs and objectives.
• Record project advancement using tools such as Smartsheet.
• Lead the annual carbon‑footprint exercise: data collection, analysis, reporting and follow‑up on CO₂ reduction targets.
• Contribute to the Integrated Sustainability Report and ensure compliance with EU CSRD/ESRS requirements, including double materiality analysis and data verification.
• Support stakeholder engagements, respond to customer sustainability inquiries, and manage sustainability assessments (e.g., EcoVadis).
• Promote sustainability awareness throughout the BIA Group.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Interest in environmental sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project‑management tools.
