System Engineer – Cross Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled System Engineer – Cross Architecture to provide technical pre‑sales support across the full Cisco portfolio. You will work closely with sales teams, channel partners, system integrators and Cisco account teams to design integrated, end‑to‑end solutions that meet customer business and technical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical pre‑sales support for Cisco Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
• Engage with partners and enterprise customers to gather business and technical requirements.
• Design end‑to‑end architectures that integrate multiple Cisco technologies and align with customer objectives.
• Prepare solution designs, Bills of Materials, technical proposals, Statements of Work and responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Conduct presentations, solution demos, workshops and Proof‑of‑Concept engagements.
• Recommend appropriate Cisco licensing models, subscription options and subscription‑based offerings.
• Collaborate with Cisco account teams, Business Unit specialists and internal sales to support strategic opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance during pricing discussions, deal registration and partner enablement sessions.
• Maintain architecture documentation, design templates and best‑practice guides.
• Mentor junior pre‑sales engineers and contribute to internal technical capability development.

Required profile

• Broad technical expertise across multiple Cisco architectures.
• Strong understanding of solution integration across networking, security, collaboration and data‑center domains.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, architecture documents and BoMs.
• Excellent customer‑facing, presentation and communication skills.

• Enterprise Networking – Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD‑WAN, Catalyst Center.
• Security – Secure Firewall, Secure Access, Duo, ISE, Umbrella, XDR, SSE/SASE.
• Collaboration – Webex Suite, Calling, Contact Center, CUCM.
• Data Center – Cisco Nexus, UCS, ACI, MDS, Intersight.
• Hybrid Cloud and Cloud Networking.
• Knowledge of Cisco licensing models, Smart Licensing, Enterprise Agreements, MSP and subscription offerings.
