About the role
SGS is seeking a Technical Lead/NDT Lead to oversee material and equipment inspections in Mauritius. The role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining testing equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out controls and inspections of material and equipment according to standards and schedules.
- Write and validate inspection reports before client transmission.
- Manage resolution of complaints and non‑compliant issues.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper functioning of testing equipment.
- Prepare inventories of consumables per project and maintain records of all reports.
Required profile
- Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Technician/Engineer.
- Experience in an industrial field.
- Flexibility to work abroad and extended hours.
- Valid driving licence and clean character certificate.
