Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Hikvision is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join its global ELV (Extra Low Voltage) team. You will work closely with sales and customers to design, implement, and support security and surveillance solutions across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design system architecture, functional specifications, and integration plans for CCTV, access control, intercom, and related ELV systems.
• Provide product demonstrations, technical defenses, and on‑site support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate with customers to resolve technical issues, answer product questions, and capture detailed requirements.
• Deliver training sessions and produce technical documentation for clients.
• Participate in quality control activities, report implementation issues, and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university in Mauritius.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an ELV support engineer, familiar with CCTV, access control, intercom or similar systems.
• Security‑manufacturer certified training preferred; CCNA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in project management, product selection, and solution design.
