Trade Finance Support

About the role

The Trade Finance Support role assists the execution of trade finance operations, handling transaction processing, document validation, and customer queries within the bank's middle office. You will work closely with the trade portal team, treasury and compliance units to ensure timely processing and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process trade finance transactions, including data entry and sanctions screening.
• Verify signatures and validate documents against sanction policies.
• Record bank transactions and coordinate pre‑authorization with other departments.
• Schedule currencies and send position sheets to Treasury for processing.
• Escalate due payments to Treasury operations.
• Prepare and send documentary credit advice and amendments to customers.
• Compile AML questionnaires and run regular monitoring reports.
• Monitor complaints and raise issues to senior management as required.
• Scan and upload documents to the bank's system.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience in trade finance with solid knowledge of trade products and documentation.
• Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration or a related field.
