Trainee – Fund Administration & Middle Office Support

About the role

Apex Group is seeking motivated trainees to support its fund administration and middle‑office operations. This entry‑level position offers exposure to a global financial services environment while contributing to core compliance and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Update statutory registers and maintain accurate corporate records.
• Perform data entry and support system migration validation.
• Prepare basic reconciliations, wire instructions, and assist with bank account openings.
• Support audit schedules, extract documents, and compile audit‑related information.
• Assist in preparing board packs, minutes drafts, and regulatory filings (ROC/FSC).
• Maintain capital call and distribution trackers, and update internal compliance reporting trackers.
• Conduct data clean‑up exercises and simple regulatory surveys.
• Provide general corporate administration support, including filing and document organization.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting minutes and reports.
• Interest in finance, fund administration, or regulatory compliance.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
