Travel Consultant – Corporate B2B Services

About the role

The Travel Consultant acts as the primary point of contact between Check‑In Travel and its corporate clients, handling hotel accommodation, airport transfers, car hire and leisure arrangements. You will plan, quote, book and follow up on all services, ensuring each reservation is accurate and up‑to‑date from enquiry through to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Handle corporate enquiries for hotels, transfers, car hire, excursions and other leisure services, providing competitive quotations.
• Make and manage bookings on B2B travel platforms (e.g., TBO Holidays) and directly with hotels and service providers.
• Confirm reservations, reconfirm prior to arrival, process amendments and cancellations, and keep client bookings current.
• Communicate with clients in English and French via email, phone and in person, updating them at every stage.
• Maintain booking records, client files and reports in Excel, tracking deadlines for options, deposits, payments and reconfirmations.
• Advise clients on hotel products, board bases, room categories, cancellation policies and supplier terms.
• Resolve booking discrepancies, overbookings and on‑trip issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with ticketing, accounts and operations teams, contributing ideas for service improvement.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent, with experience in a similar travel‑consulting role.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy (email, Word, booking systems).
• Professional, client‑focused demeanor with strong attention to detail.
• Self‑starter who is innovative, well‑organised and able to work both independently and within a team.
