Treasury Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Treasury Manager to join DHL Global Forwarding in Port Louis, Mauritius. The role will ensure compliance with global and local financial standards, oversee record‑to‑report (RTR) and intercompany processes, and drive continuous improvement across the treasury function.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Global & MEA Operating Model, DHL Group financial principles (IFRS) and local statutory requirements.
• Plan and supervise daily RTR and intercompany activities and team reporting.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing for RTR, intercompany and CREST reporting in line with DP DHL guidelines.
• Perform and approve monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, including sub‑ledger and intercompany accounts.
• Maintain internal controls, support internal and external audits, and close identified gaps within agreed timelines.
• Resolve escalated issues promptly and build strong cross‑functional relationships with stakeholders.
• Set operational objectives (IKOs) for team members, monitor KPI achievement and conduct performance reviews.
• Provide coaching, on‑the‑job training and drive process improvements to foster a high‑performance service culture.
• Identify and implement innovations in processes, systems and techniques to increase efficiency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with record‑to‑report (RTR) and intercompany accounting processes.
• Familiarity with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Understanding of internal control frameworks and audit readiness.
• Ability to manage balance‑sheet reconciliations and CREST reporting.
